THE SOCIO-RELATIONAL HEALING THEORY
The why
Cura Wellness was born from a personal and professional imperative: to create culturally attuned, high-impact support for high-achieving, diverse leaders navigating impact, pressure, and purpose.
After 15+ years as a psychotherapist, executive coach, and nonprofit founder, I witnessed the limitations of traditional mental health and leadership models—especially for those holding multiple truths, leading in high-stakes environments, and building legacies across race, gender, and class.
Cura bridges the gap.
Rooted in the Latin word cura, meaning “to cure” or “to care,” this work is a nod to my own culture—and to the diverse cultural identities we all come from, but have often been taught to minimize or separate from our professional lives.
