Dr. Christine Coleman, Ph.D., LMFT—Founder and CEO of POC Thriving, award-winning Founder of women’s nonprofit, Sol Sisters, Inc., licensed psychotherapist, executive coach, and trusted advisor to high-impact leaders and mission-driven companies.

With over 15 years of experience studying human behavior across race, gender, and class, and a doctorate focused on the psychological effects of intersectional feminism, Dr. Coleman has supported hundreds of diverse clients, from underresourced women to Fortune 500 executives navigate the pressures of leadership and identity with power and purpose.

As a proud Mexican and Iranian-American woman (she/her), Dr. Coleman embodies and specializes in the intersection of mental health, leadership development, and cultural strategy. Whether she is guiding individuals through her signature Thriving Framework™ or helping companies solve complex people problems, Dr. Coleman’s mission is clear: to equip high-achieving diverse leaders to live, love, and thrive at the highest level.

Awards & Recognitions

  • In 2016, Dr. Coleman was selected to attend the exclusive United State of Women conference headed by Michelle and Barack Obama, Joe and Dr. Jill Biden, Oprah, Warren Buffet, and other courageous leaders, for my dedication to furthering gender equality. 

    In 2017, Dr. Coleman was awarded the University of San Francisco’s Living the Mission Award for her work with Sol Sisters and service to marginalized women and girls. 

    In 2019, Dr. Coleman was awarded the Outstanding Leadership Award at the Health 2.0 Conference in Las Vegas, NV for her commitment to diversity and inclusion in mental health and social good.

  • Dr. Coleman’s passion for speaking on mental health and DEI issues has been featured throughout the Bay Area, Philadelphia, New York, and internationally by the Department of Health on the island of Bermuda, South Africa, and Canada. Press contributions include Vogue, HuffPostVariety, Microsoft News, The Harvard Business Review, and Fast Company.

  • Dr. Coleman has also been featured on celebrity panels  alongside influential women such as Michelle Williams, Cynthia Erivo, Lala Anthony, Yaya DaCosta, and was a guest speaker for former Executive Producer of the Oprah show, Sheri Salata. 

    In 2019, Dr. Coleman facilitated a fireside chat with Grammy Award Winning artist, Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child for the Sol Sisters’ Inaugural Evolve Conference
